Presentation Summary:

Conflicts can occur when people disagreeing with each other seem unable to find a reasonable compromise. The roots of these disagreements can arise from many sources, including differences in personality, values, and perceptions.

In your professional and personal life, you need to handle the differences that arise between people. Conflicts may be minor or they may fester into something that may requiring intervention by a mediator or the Court.

The presentation will cover:

  • What is conflict?
  • The two reasons for human actions
  • The ingredients of conflict
  • Dealing with anger
  • Tools for resolving conflict

About Our Speaker:

As a professional Mediator and Arbitrator since 2004, Ken Strongman works to unite people into purposeful and unified directions, actions, and efforts by getting under surface appearances.

Ken’s overarching purpose is to leave the disputing parties in a better position than when they came to him. By doing so, he facilitates the parties in developing their unique solutions.

Over the years, he has conducted multiple mediations in the Trust and Estates field. This includes pre-litigation mediations, court ordered mediations and appellant mediations.

He believes that “Mediation is conflict at its best.”
